“In you I see a rollercoaster.” The ups and downs of life ride at 90 mph in my inner thoughts and the darkest crevices of my mind. Flowing freely without of sense of urgency to halt. Despite the desire to exit this ride I can’t seem to find a way to make it end, to shut the ride down for maintenance, repairs or safety updates. It’s a constant ride with the highest of highs and quick drops that make my stomach flip and catch my breath in my throat.
The higher this ride goes the lower the drop is when it inevitably has to come back down. I long for the moment when it’s on a straight path between hills, but even those don’t satisfy.
i really used to overplay my part & try to be so understanding about everything even if it hurt me. The old me really lacked boundaries, but now it’s up. Respect me or lose me, that simple.
